AT GBG RICHARD CONCEPTUALIZED THE STRATEGIC TURNAROUND OF THOMAS PINK, A MOËT HENNESSY • LOUIS VUITTON (LVMH) GROUP BRAND, IN MAINLAND CHINA. MR. KISEMBO LIKEWISE INTRODUCED BEBE, AN ICONIC AMERICAN RETAILER, INTO THE MAINLAND CHINA MARKET.
BEFORE JOINING GBG, RICHARD SERVED A BUSINESS DEVELOPEMENT STINT AT ICONIX BRAND GROUP WHERE HE WAS INSTRUMENTAL AT LAUNCHING THE COMPANY’S FORAY INTO EMERGING MARKETS. Mr. KISEMBO HOLDS A BACHELORS DEGREE IN FASHION MERCHANDISING FROM LIM COLLEGE IN NEW YORK.
Jing Yin is a CO-Founder & Chairman of the Board of Directors at INFRA. Ms. Yin began her pioneering brand development career in 2009, focused exclusively on developing next generation market entrance strategies for fashion brands entering China.
With over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, Ms. Yin has built her career along prolific Joint Venture Partnerships shes forged. Jing also serves as the China - Chief Executive for Golfino AG, where she also sits on the Board of Directors. She also holds multiple non-executive Board of Director roles in key Joint Ventures that INFRA holds.
Prior to Golfino, Jing Co-founded and served as Chief Executive of INFRA, where she oversaw the nationwide expansion of Golfino – a German based brand and leading European golf apparel company. Under her leadership, she opened the company’s first flagship store in Shanghai in September 2013, and managed Golfino's growth to over 60 retail stores currently. In 2017 Golfino’s German parent company acquired the China business.
Jing likewise served multiple key executive roles within China’s fashion industry, most notably as Head of Sales & Marketing for Beijing Li Ning Sports Co., Ltd., one of the largest active-apparel companies in China. At Li Ning Jing oversaw the North China Region. Prior to Li Ning, Jing oversaw brand and retail initiatives at Beijing Batao Apparel Co., Ltd.
Ms. Yin holds a B.A. Degree in Brand Management and Design from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology.
Mr. Shen is a Senior Executive with over 20 years of experience in Brand Building, Market & Consumer Insights, and Cross-Cultural Team Leadership in China.
In 2016, Brian partnered with Tanner Tan to invest in Magic Panda Shanghai, leading its business turnaround and re-shaping its strategy. Magic Panda is one of the most awarded and highly respected e-commerce operator in the apparel and lifestyle segment of China.
Prior to Magic Panda, beginning in 2009, Brian was Chief Strategy Officer and a Director of the Board of MullenLowe China (an Interpublic Group Company) where he lead transition and growth in the era of digitalizing brands, including Unilever, Shanghai General Motors, Anta Group (the largest Chinese sports shores & apparel company), and Alibaba Group.
Mr. Shen's prior experiance also includes 10 years at Leo Burnett China, beginning in 1998, where he established multiple brand image programs for P&G, Wyeth, Wrigley’s, Cadillac, Fiat, Ping An Group (the largest Insurance company in China), McDonald’s, Siemens, LiNing (the largest and famous Chinese sports apparel company then), Coca-Cola brands, and Shanghai General Motors. Baiping served on Leo Burnett's Executive Management Committee and was instrumental in growing the China divison from an eight people unit to over 300, transforming into one of the most admired communication company in China.
Mr. Shen holds a Master of Applied Finance, from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia
Tanner is a Senior Executive with 20+ years OF experience in Finance Management, Business Development, Strategy, Ecommerce, AND Cross-Cultural Team Leadership in China.
In 2016, Tanner partnered with Mr. Baiping Shen to invest in Magic Panda Shanghai, leading its business turnaround, business development, fund raising, operating processes, and people development. Magic Panda is one of the most awarded and highly respected e-commerce operator in the apparel and lifestyle segment of China.
Prior to Magic Panda, beginning in 2011, Tanner was Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of MullenLowe China (an Interpublic Group Company), managing clients including Unilever, Coca Cola, General Motors, Tmall, Alipay, Anta, Remy Martin, Total, and Qualcomm.
Tanner's prior experiance, beginning in 2007, also includes 10 years at Burson-Masteller (now Burson Cohn & Wolfe “BCW”), a WPP Company, where he served a role as Finance Director.
Previous to that, beginning in 2002, Tanner was Financial Controller at American Express China where he managed initial set-up of the American Express China business and travel division. Mr. Tan introduced Signature on File (“SOF”) into the Chinese market which helped built the initial foundation of China Ecommerce online payment solution, and grew American Express business travel business to an industry No 1 within 4 years.
Earlier in his career, Tanner trained in the finance and commercial departments at SmithKline Beecham China (“SB”) and GlaxoSmithKline China (“GSK”) where he was instrumental in introducing the flu vaccine into China.
