III Emerging General Partners

A Discussion Focused on Launching Your Private Equity Fund and Competing in Today’s Market…

Reinventing how emerging General Partners navigate the Private Equity markets in today’s challenging times is the new normal. On June 30th, INFRA joined a distinct panel of General Partners for a robust virtual discussion presented by Anchin, Block & Anchin’s Private Equity Group.

The panelists included INFRA’s Chief Executive & CMO Richard Kisembo, Neda Daneshzadeh, Co-Founder & Partner at Prelude Growth Partners: a growth equity firm focused on providing capital and value-added operating support to fast-growing consumer brands, and Sarah Foley, Partner at SWAT Equity Partners: an early-stage venture capital firm focused exclusively on consumer-branded products, services and technology.

Hosting the panel was E. George Teixeira, Partner and Tax Leader of Financial Services Practice at Anchin, and likewise Leader of the firm’s Private Equity Group. Moderator was Nancy Vailakis a Senior Advisor at fund administrator Socium Fund Services and a Contributing Writer at Alternatives Watch.

Adapting to the theme of innovation in the Private Equity realm, during a global pandemic, the panelists reflected upon their strategic foresight to navigate: hot (or not) sectors, deal flows in the lower-middle segment, a micro perspective of the current fundraising environment and their overall perspective of Private Equity markets, current and beyond 2020.

The current business paradigm of uncertainty,  juxtaposition to the short-term and longterm perspective of the 3 Emerging General Partners, provided a notable and spirited discussion. With special thanks to Anchin, Block & Anchin, we are delighted to provide a video recap.
